GDI is great and worth the time it takes to build it
I took a look at it. It is for real, as in it is real company. However, it is a network marketing company so you won't actually make any money unless you find people to buy the product from you. What is the product? The product is expensive domain names and hosting. They charge $10 a month for a simple hosting package. (they run off of website.ws which is an expensive place to buy domains $35/year - you can get them for $8/year at omnis.com or godaddy.com or enom.com or others) They actually call it the domain fee or something like that. You will have to be paying that $10 a month for your own website.
So basically they try to get you excited about it because of the potential money you can make when really the product you are selling is not really that cool. It is not a horrible business to be in, it is what Dave Sherwin does. But it is not a classic job where they just pay you an hourly rate. If you really want to be a 100% commission sales person then I would recommend picking a better product to sell. If you really want to sell domains and hosting then sell them for me and I will pay you a lot more then the 10% these people are paying you.
Anyway, I would recommend not joining a network marketing company. Unless, you want to be excited about selling a business opportunity with a silly product.
I wouldn't be surprised if you had gotten it off of the byu newset site or whatever, byu and uvsc are full of kids doing network marketing things.

P.S. (Other network marketing companies I know of around here: NuSkin, Usana, Xango, Xooma, Goyin, Isagenix, and many others. Some of them do have pretty cool products for sell. But they are almost all overpriced, in my opinion).
